Each in-person assessment is customized to meet the individual's unique needs and specific referral questions, typically including:
- Review of developmental, educational, and relevant background information
- Parent, student, and/or teacher interviews, as appropriate
- Cognitive (IQ) assessment
- Academic achievement testing

- Assessment of attention, executive functioning, memory, and processing skills
- Screening of emotional, behavioral, and social factors when relevant
- Consideration of learning disabilities, including ADHD, dyslexia, giftedness, intellectual disabilities, and other educational concerns
- A comprehensive written report outlining results and diagnostic impressions, when applicable
- Individualized recommendations for home, school, workplace, and/or post-secondary settings based on the findings from the psycho-educational assessments
- A feedback meeting to review results, answer questions, and discuss next steps
This assessment process is designed not only to identify difficulties but also to highlight strengths, providing a roadmap for future success within educational and work contexts.

I have a wealth of experience working alongside children, adolescents, families, and schools to analyze their learning profiles and create meaningful recommendations. I am registered to practice psychology in both Alberta and Saskatchewan and possess Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) diagnostic privileges, allowing me to diagnose psychological conditions within my scope. My approach is strengths-based, emphasizing clear answers and practical recommendations for everyday life. My goal is to assist individuals and families in understanding how they learn, identifying barriers to success, and leveraging existing strengths through effective school assessment strategies to achieve their full potential.
